A few months ago, my wife's TREK bicycle got destroyed in a cycling accident. I considered IMBA's trusted recommendation and signed up for two bikes, a Specialized S-Works Aethos and a Trek Madone Ultimate P1.

My homeowner's insurance would only consider my bikes as a rider to my policy but for astronomical rates. Fortunately, with BikeInsure, I have a separate insurance policy covering my bikes and mitigating my financial risk exposure in case anything happens to them. Insurance for a bike! When you search for the word bike in homeowners insurance policies, you won't find it.

I own a Bianchi bike and wanted to insure it for crash and theft, so I turned to BikeInsure. My favorite bike shop, Cadence Cyclery, recommended BikeInsure, so I checked out their website. Even after researching it thoroughly, I still had a few specific questions about the coverage of my bike. I recently purchased my first bike, which was NOT $500. I bought a $5,000 Specialized Turbo Levo Carbon S3. Once I received the bike, I realized I needed insurance. After researching, I discovered two insurance providers for my eBike - BikeInsure and Velosure. Velosurance wasn't available in my state, but BikeInsure was, so I signed up with them.
