I unboxed my Canyon Endurace, attached the pedals, and realized I still needed to insure it. I live in California and know that if anything happens to my bike, I won't be able to recover the loss with homeowner's insurance.

Since bike insurance was not an option at Canyon.com, I checked usacycling.com and found they had partnered with BikeInsure, which now provides excellent coverage for my road bike.

Canyon should also have bike insurance on its website, like USAC, to complete the bike purchasing process. It's already 2024, and it seems unlikely that any cyclist would purchase a bike without getting bicycle insurance.
