Your application includes a date and time stamp confirming exactly when coverage becomes effective — so you can ride with confidence from the moment you enroll.

No documentation uploads or additional approval steps are required before coverage begins.

As part of your BikeInsure enrollment, you electronically sign and certify your application information and agree to policy terms and required disclosures.

In contrast, some bike insurance policies in the U.S. require extensive documentation — such as purchase receipts or detailed photos — to validate ownership and value, and apply strict theft conditions, including securing the bicycle to an immovable object with an approved lock and providing evidence of compliance at the time of loss.

After enrollment, you receive a confirmation email with your application and receipt, followed by your official policy documents by email and mail.
