Trek Emonda SL6

I did the Polling House race in Maryland without bike insurance, which involved a Canyon road bike accident. I didn't see the crash involving the Canyon bike, but I heard about it secondhand.

I wanted to get bike insurance because I know crashes are sometimes an unavoidable part of the cycling sport.

I have health insurance that would cover most medical costs if I were to crash. I also have insurance on other expensive items like my car and condo, so it makes sense to get BikeInsure for a fairly expensive TREK Emonda as well.

Bike insurance buys some 'piece of mind' and is less costly than having a second race bike, even a cheaper/older bike.
