How do I cancel my bike insurance policy?

BikeInsure policies are written for a one-year term with automatic monthly payments, since riding accidents and theft can occur at any time of year. Short-term or paused coverage is not offered. However, you can submit a Request Cancellation through the BikeInsure Customer Portal at any time.

Inside the portal, select Request Cancellation and choose the option that matches your situation:

Bike Swap Remove/Add Bike — If you sold your insured bike and replaced it with another, submit a Remove/Add Bike request so coverage can transfer once BikeInsure confirms the update.

Voluntary Cancel — If you sold the bicycle or e-bike and no longer own a replacement, request cancellation for that item.

Medical Issue — If you are unable to ride due to a medical condition, you may request cancellation.

Non-Renew — If you want coverage to end at the conclusion of the current annual policy term, submit a non-renewal request, and the policy will not renew for the next year.

BikeInsure policies automatically renew each year to maintain continuous protection unless you request non-renewal or cancellation. Cancellation becomes effective on the next billing date after the request is processed.
